End of trip facilities

Introducing the new end of trip facilities at Neville Bonner Building and 61 Mary Street, Brisbane and Mike Ahern Centre Maroochydore.

End of trip facilities are designed as a convenient location for cyclists, walkers and joggers to shower, change and store their bicycles.

The Accommodation Office, Department of Public Works has three new end of trip facilities located at 75 William Street (Neville Bonner Building), at 61 Mary Street Brisbane and, at the Mike Ahern Centre, Maroochydore.

These facilities are available to all Queensland Government employees and are part of the Department of Public Works’ approach to promoting healthy and active lifestyles of Government employees.

Features:

The Neville Bonner Building facility features 96 ‘double stack’ bicycle racks, 140 lockers plus male and female shower/change facilities.

61 Mary Street, Brisbane is the largest facility and features 254 ‘double stack’ bicycle racks, 284 lockers plus male and female shower/change facilities.

Mike Ahern Centre, located at 12 First Avenue Maroochydore, features 72 bicycle racks, 112 lockers plus male and female shower/change facilities.

How to apply:

If you are a Queensland Government employee and would like to apply for shower access, a locker, or bicycle rack at any of these facilities than you may do so by completing the application form included below.

Note that availability is strictly limited and lockers/bicycle racks will be issued on a first come, first served basis. If any of the facilities are at full capacity, you will be placed on a waiting list and contacted should a vacancy arise.
