Capital Works Management Framework (CWMF)

The Capital Works Management Framework is the policy for managing risks in the planning and delivery of government building projects. It applies to all Queensland Government departments (as the term is defined in the Financial Accountability Act 2009) that control or administer government buildings.

The CWMF does not apply to other entities such as local governments, Government Owned Corporations, statutory bodies (including for example, universities), or special purpose vehicles.

The following pages introduce the main policy document that covers the Framework requirements, supporting guidelines and policy advice notes on specific aspects of building procurement.
